How to use Saphir Omni’Nettoyant Suede Shampoo
Mix the omni’nettoyant 1:1 with some slightly warm water, and use a small brush to work up a lather on the shoes. The shampoo does comes with a small brush, which is similar to our basic welt brushes, but we have found that our daubers are better tools for the job. Once you have worked the shampoo in to a lather all over the shoe, rinse your brush and use fresh water and work the shoes over again to get rid of the shampoo. Leave to dry for six hours (or overnight), then brush down with a suede brush. To make the most of this spring cleaning, follow up with our Suede Renovateur spray, and finally Super Invulner waterproofer.
Don’t forget to use shoetrees! As the suede gets wet and then dries, it’s certainly worth keeping the shoes in their optimum shape to avoid them curling up at all.
